The Challenge
No usable design data existed for this chain hoist trolley, only the physical assembly. Client needed it captured in CAD with every functional relationship preserved.
Engineering Approach
Each component was measured and evaluated individually before modelling, with attention to how tolerances stacked across gears, bearings, and plate parts in the mechanism.

Components Reconstructed to Spec
The reconstructed assembly matched the original mechanism’s functional tolerances closely enough to move directly into manufacturing. All 24 components were modelled and toleranced to GD&T Class 2, preserving the trolley’s rated 2T lifting capacity without further physical rework.
